About Me

Welcome. I’m Jennifer and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been practicing for 18 years, working with adults who are seeking meaningful change, clarity, and relief from emotional pain. My style is intuitive, collaborative, and gently direct — I help you identify what’s not working and support you in creating space for what truly matters to you.

Clients often seek me out when they feel overwhelmed by emotion, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in recurring relational or behavioral cycles. I also support Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), individuals recovering from codependent dynamics, and those managing work/life imbalances and burnout. In addition, I have a strong interest in working with individuals living with chronic or invisible illnesses. I understand the emotional toll of managing long-term health conditions, and I aim to support clients in honoring their limitations without losing sight of meaning, identity, or agency.

My goal is to help you increase self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and reconnect with what matters most to you. I view therapy as a process of growth and realignment — one that invites both clarity and self-compassion.

I believe that insight and personal growth emerge when we feel safe enough to be curious about our inner world — and supported enough to take steps toward change.

With a background in mindfulness-based and somatic therapies and a foundation in trauma-informed care, I tailor our work to your unique needs and nervous system. I often integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, and mind-body approaches to help you feel more grounded and connected — both internally and in your relationships.

Before becoming a therapist, I had a long journey of my own learning to live mindfully and I have experience with the dance of chronic illness. This lived experience informs my presence with clients: I bring not only clinical knowledge, but deep empathy and patience for what it means to live with ongoing physical challenges.

I believe therapy is not about fixing you — because you are not broken. It’s about creating space to hear your truth, unburden old patterns, and grow into the life you want to live.

If you’re seeking a therapist who will meet you with warmth, honesty, and a deep respect for you and your story, I’d be honored to work with you.
